SHAMAN BREATHING
We invite you to travel to YOUR ESSENCE through breath.
Shamanic breathing helps to connect with one’s inner wisdom and knowledge, to get closer to one’s wholeness and consciousness, to release the physical and psycho-emotional blocks, to release the impulses of self-healing, to purify and release energy channels and to allow the life energy to flow more freely. During shamanic breathing, the participant enters a state of expanded consciousness through the breathing process, in which his own “inner healer” or “shaman” is awakened and activated.
Stanislav Groff, the founder of transpersonal psychology, has described these altered states of consciousness as holotropic states. From the Greek holos – “whole, everything” and tropos – “moving to something or where”. Holotrope – “focused on the whole”. Shamanism, on the other hand, is the most spiritual practice and the art of healing.
